Sorry I missed this. It got caught in a spam filter. I just pulled them out and used a spray paint. It coated very well. I do have liners in mine. Some U-hauls don't have the liners just raw fiberglass. If so, you could build something in or try to finish the inside of the cabinets with a gelcoat.
How did you repaint the cabinet doors and cubbies?
